Much like baseball It comes down to playing the odds or percentages in any given situation. As a coach if you needed a pinch hit, and you had two guys to call upon, one with a .125 ave. and the other with a .400 ave., most likely you'd call upon the guy with the .400 ave. And that .400 hitter has a greater chance of hitting the ball than the guy with the .125 ave. Both could give you that needed hit but you can never be for sure so you need to follow the averages to help you with your decision.
Buying a vehicle is very similar. It is possible to get a good vehicle from any manufacturer. And, it's possible to get a bad vehicle from a good manufacturer. However, when checking the manufacturers and their makes it's wise to see who has the greater possibilty of giving you the better vehicle. I'd go with the manufacturer that has a greater chance of providing a good vehicle over the other. In a game, if you choose wisely, you may get the needed hit and win the game. But in a game you're only betting the odds of a possible hit. In buying a vehicle you're betting with your money. I'd go with the Frontier or Tacoma with my money....but that's just me.
