Default Anyone else notice the website change?!

Register to stop seeing this ad!

I noticed this morning that instead of being www.mahindrana.com for the web address it is now www.GV-USA.com. There doesn't appear to be anything different content wise but they have changed the URL to global vehicles. Maybe we are going to start to see some changes if things are being transferred into Mr. Perez's hands.

It just show how they don't give a flip when still say that trucks are coming in 2009 !
Wouldn't think that they would care to change that to "trucks coming sometime in 2010" !
If I was doing an internet search to find more about Mahindra and saw that today, I would think that they went under even before get started !!!
I just don't get that about Mahindra and GV...

Eventually they will probably just do a redirect from GV-USA to MahindraNA. I think they are trying to get things tidied up. Smart. Really, no one should know who GV is in the US, they should only know Mahindra. When you search for 'Hyundai' you don't want to be directed to the people pulling them off the boat, you want to go to their US website.

To clarify: I wasn't suggesting Hyundai had a separate distributer. I didn't even bother looking into it before I made my comment. This was a 'for instance' comment. Maybe it was a crappy example but I figure most people got my point. My intention was merely to state that a customer doesn't want to be directed to the website for (okay, another random example) the company who does the advertising for Hyundai, but to the site that shows the cars and specs.

Did I say smart? Yep. As I stated, I'm only saying that they are smart on this one single point. And that is on the correlation between the two websites.

Man, you guys are a tough crowd!

Central New York is aka Mahindra Planet? I thought it was 'Central-Leatherstocking'... (which I always hated btw))

Hah. Yes, Leatherstocking Region. The state just announced last week that they are officially changing the name to Central Region. I kind of like the nod to our timber industry. Seems like the state could find better uses of time than change region names though.

Default Central region?

I studied forestry at Syracuse, and I have no recollection of a "Central region" being important in the timber industry. Have I been out west too long?
