I'm not waiting for Mahindra. I ordered a FORD F350 diesel for my slide-in camper. I will no longer be visiting this forum.

That is one sweet truck SteveRover, congrats and good luck with it. Tell us how it goes because that is one of my alternatives, well, an F250 with the new 6.7 TD at least.

Hey, let us know how ya like it and the MPG. Unless someone comes out with something better I may be in a F150 or 250 with the 6.7 ... I think Mahindra was counting it's chickens before the eggs hatched?????

That 6.7 TD can get 22MPG on the highway, only 8 away from the much smaller Mahindra. Not a bad trade-off if you are willing to pay the money.

I suppose, but I bet with a mix of urban driving the ford will do significantly less, but whatever, I am jealous. I would love to be able to afford that truck but I really don't need that much vehicle. I guess that's the problem, can't get a diesel truck without going very heavy duty.
I just think the whole reason for this thread was odd and it doesn't make sense.
A lot of drama is what seems to be about.
We have to wait, I hope this time next year I can feel confident about these trucks and stroll into a dealership and buy one, provided they have made it here by then!
