Here's an article about a J.D.Powers forecast of top ten car brands to watch for in the U.S. Market- Mahindra is in there as well as Tata.

I have heard about most all of those comeing before. BYD had plans to beat all other auto makers in bringing a full BEV to the US market but now we have roughly 4 on sale or soon to be i nthe case of the Volt and Leaf.

I bet we do start to see more automakers come in, especially from China and India as they continue to expand out into other markets.

While the specs and purpose build is a great idea I worry about the look of the car and perceptions and attitudes of both the officers and the possible perps.

I can see where testosterone might get in the way of sound judgement.

I see a little bit of Mad Max in the styling. As for the testosterone thing, these guys are so amped up already I don't see how the car could make it worse, and who cares what the perps think. Ouch! Okay, these guys are so professional and disciplined they won't be changed by the look of the car they drive.
