Welcome to the forum, bikes, hadn't seen you post before.
As for "electronic" transfer cases (switch controls a solenoid in the case that shifts between ranges), they've been in use here for decades. If M&M is using one, and the case is from a reputable manufacturer (which I believe it is), then this shouldn't be an issue.
