Default If the US Mahindra mpg is comparable to Australia's.....

Looking around in Australia's google, one can find quite a bit of information about their version of the Mahindra. The number I have seen them claiming is 9.9 Liters/100 km combined efficiency, they didn't differentiate between the 2wd or 4wd models.

This works out to be 23.86 mpg.
(3.78 liters = 1 gallon)
(1.6 km = 1 mile)

With it being diesel, the cost per mile is still similar to a truck that gets 19.88 mpg. (Diesel being 20% more assumption).

Just opening this up for discussion.

Is there anything different about the US powertrain?
If not then 30 mpg might be possible on the freeway but optimism about 30mpg combined would be very misplaced.
