I saw this a long time ago. I thought we all knew that the 4.4 was going to the "prestige group" or whatever Ford called Aston, Land Rover, Jag and Vovlo at the time. I do think this would be a wise investment to bring over in the Econoline/transit, F150 & 250 along with full-size SUV's. I see plenty of Sprinter vans around so I know there is a market for an economical van even if it does start north of $40k.
they could de-tune it to 3.3 liters and have 230 hp and 385 lbs of torque for the econoline/transit and F150 only. That is adequate for fleet/commercial use
