You're right, Forest- that is a piece of information that may not be available right now (although it looks like M&M could have gotten the EPA business taken care of by this time). That detail may connect to or support theories proffered in other threads. My point was just that if the people at GV didn't want the people at this forum to focus on discord, they might be able to dig up some of the information we lack about these trucks to distract us, or remind us that the purpose of all their efforts are to get trucks to the dealers here. After all, if they're the distributor for the Mahindra vehicles then public relations is part of their job- maybe not a part of the contract, but sympathetic with their goals. I'd imagine they can't discuss any ongoing litigation, but they can talk about trucks and keep on their game face.
