You say Dodge is still using fuel-based DPF regens like it's a GOOD thing... The only reason they didn't go to urea/DEF injection is because the 6.7 Cummins passed the 2010 emissions requirements right from the get-go. It still gets the same cruddy fuel economy compared to the 5.9...

I would rather have to dump a $3 bottle of urea juice in my truck every few thousand miles than an extra $3 gallon of diesel at EVERY fill-up.

I'm glad Mahindra is going the DEF injection route, but I'm still worried that the promised 30MPG is going to end up closer to 22MPG with all the emissions and safety equipment the US government makes auto makers add to our vehicles.
