In a market dominated by the Detroit Three, an Indian automaker takes their chances and brings an alternative to the consumers. Mahindra & Mahindra introduces the TR20 and the TR40, no nonsense midsize pickup trucks powered by clean-burning diesel engines. Trucks with enough fuel efficiency for you to depend on for your daily commute, yet possess enough power to help you with occasional towing and hauling.
While the launch date of the Mahindra trucks has been rescheduled a few times now, a lot of people are still anticipating the release of these diesel trucks. Its clean-burning diesel engine emits less than 97% of sulfur emissions of traditional trucks and emits almost zero sooty particulates. Mahindra’s clean diesels also produce less than 30% of the greenhouse gases released by gas engines per mile.
Furthermore, because of the rising cost of fuel in the market, a huge concern among US consumers is the number of miles per gallon it can run for and the TR20 is just perfect because it can get approximately 30 miles per gallon on the highway. It’s also very low maintenance, which makes it perfect not just for truck-lovers, but also for those who have always wanted one, but held back because of its impracticality.
